B.C. man arrested after breaking into homes naked

A naked man was arrested after streaking in a Colwood, B.C. neighbourhood and attempting to break into several homes.

According to the West Shore RCMP, police located the man on Saturday around 4:40 a.m. Police said the man was running down the street nude and engaging in aggressive behaviour.

Cst. Nancy Saggar, Media Relations Officer of the West Shore RCMP, said in a press release that officers learned that the man had woken up residents of at least four different homes by knocking loudly on their doors. He broke the glass panels on the front doors on two of the homes and gained entry into one of the homes where he walked around for a short period of time.

“The suspect became violent with police when informed they were under arrest,” Saggar said.

While the suspect sustained injuries by breaking the glass, police said that residents and officers were unharmed.

The man was arrested for break and enter, uttering threats and assaulting a police officer.
