Manitoba woman ran over by own truck

A Manitoba woman fell victim to her own truck after it rolled over her and left her with non-threatening injuries on Friday.

Emergency personnel responded to the scene of the incident on a highway just outside of Boissevain, Man.

Const. Wayne Goetz of the RCMP told that a passerby made a call around 9 a.m., CDT.

“It appears she got out to fix something in the truck box when the vehicle was set in motion and it rolled over her,” Goetz told

First responders transported the woman to the local hospital in Boissevain. She was later airlifted by STARS Ambulance to the Health Sciences Centre in Winnipeg.

The Brandon Sun reported the woman was in stable condition.
