The Canadian capital got a taste of deep cold this weekend.
The Weather Network reported that temperatures in Ottawa Saturday morning dipped below those in every other capital city in the world.
While Mongolia’s capital, Ulan Bator, is the coldest capital city on average, according to World Atlas, Ottawa’s temperature lowered to -24 C on Saturday. It was -23 C in Ulan Bator that day.
The cold weather didn’t let up in Canada Monday, as Environment Canada issued extreme cold weather advisories in parts of five different provinces.
