Waterloo Regional Police didn’t need to pay for tickets to see a gun show last week.
Police seized about 250 firearms, 200,000 rounds of ammunition and a grenade from a Kitchener, Ont., home.
According to a press release, police discovered the guns on Thursday after executing a search warrant.
Police charged a Kitchener man with unsafe storage, but police say the investigation is ongoing and they anticipate additional fire-arms-related charges.
Police reminded gun owners to lock up their guns, and to store ammunition separately in a location that can’t be broken into.
