Saskatchewan man found hiding in restaurant ceiling for more than 24 hours

Police in Saskatoon found a man hiding in the ceiling of a local restaurant this week.

A post on Saskatoon Police Service’s official Facebook page explained that officers were sent to a restaurant where staff had been hearing strange noises that originated from the ceiling.

Police found the individual after breaking into the ceiling and said he had multiple break and enter tools.

The June 10 post also said that the man was very dehydrated and hungry because he had been in the ceiling for more than 24 hours.

He was taken into custody to await a court appearance.
